ES/MS Music : 4th grade
Recent ActivityWelcome to music for the 2007 - 2008 school year. We will learn to read the treble clef notes and play the song flute. We'll be doing a lot of singing, too, as we prepare for our Spring program presented on Thursday evening, Feb. 28, 2008. We'll attend an Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Young People's concert, A World of Music, so we'll be learning to be better listeners also. I'm looking forward to a great year with you. I know we'll have a lot of fun!
Section Announcements  We're learning to read the names of the treble clef lines and spaces and their fingerings on our recorders. It's harder than we thought, but we're making great progress!
The recorders and books have been sent home with your students. I hope they will enjoy playing them occassionally over the summer and learning more notes and fingerings.
